Our simple and easy to follow induction guide for a new employees

In our recent blog post, we discussed some tips for recruiting quality employees. Today, we have a great infographic to ensure welcoming a new employee goes smoothly.

When deciding to hire a new employee there are some key factors to consider:

  • Do you want to recruit a new employee? There are many things to consider when hiring an employee including tax and Workers Compensation Insurance.
  • Time and strategy involved in recruiting a new employee.
  • An employment contract will need to be created

Once a new employee commences, there are several steps involved to ensure a smooth induction including:

  • Gathering all the necessary details including banking, superannuation, and tax file number details
  • Ensure all the employment paperwork is completed which includes employee handbooks or any other policies

An employer will also have to consider Workcover insurance and any Fair Work regulations that govern the employee/employer relationship.
